Meet Jason Bjarnson a dedicated fitness enthusiast whose journey began with a passion for gymnastics and long-distance running in high school. Despite facing criticism for his physique, he found solace and strength in the gym, introduced by his father.
What started as a quest for physical improvement soon evolved into a transformative journey of confidence, self-esteem, and discipline. Sharing his progress on social media has allowed him to inspire millions with his story of perseverance and growth.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey with fitness.
I started out with gymnastics and long-distance running in high school, but I was made fun of quite often for how skinny I was. My dad introduced me to the gym, and after seeing the results, I became addicted to the progress. Not only did my physical appearance improve, but my confidence, self-esteem, and discipline also improved. I decided to share my journey on social media and have been blessed to share my journey and transformation with millions of people.
Why did you choose to partner with TL?

What advice would you give to someone just getting started in their fitness journey?
Don’t be afraid to document your fitness journey by taking pics and videos, even if you don’t think you look good, because you’ll have something to look back on down the road. It helps you realize how far you’ve come and the reason why you started in the first place.

Walking lunges, French press, weighted pull-ups.

My wife, because she’s my favorite person to talk to.
What’s your favorite “out-of-the-gym” activity and why?
Rock climbing, because it's exhilarating, challenging, and a great form of exercise outside of the gym.
Do you have a role model or someone you look up to?
My dad.
What would you say is the biggest challenge or obstacle you’ve had to overcome, and how did you do it?
I had an eating disorder at a young age and was diagnosed with depression. Fitness has helped me overcome it by giving me personal goals to keep pushing forward.
What is your main source of motivation heading into a bodybuilding competition?
Beating my previous self.

Side tricep.
